Bonus Offer – Get Off to a Great Start With Bonus Bets

4.4/5

going to be the Ladbrokes bonus, which bettors from the UK sportsbook can take advantage of. This is nice and straightforward and consists of £20 in bonus bets after you have placed an initial qualifying bet of at least £5 at minimum odds of 1/2. As with all bonuses, you should read the T&Cs here to make sure that you know of any other restrictions that apply.

The Ladbrokes bonus is perfect for new bettors as you will receive these as 4x £5 free bets to be used within seven days, which means you have plenty of time to use them. This is very similar to the Bet365 bonus, among others, which offers £10 more in bets, but you have to make a larger qualifying wager. Thus, if you’re looking for a low deposit bonus offer, this one’s for you.

A Slick, Well-Put-Together App For Betting On The Go

4.0/5
Featured bets at Ladbrokes
Ladbrokes mobile app

The Ladbrokes sportsbook has a dedicated app for online betting on sports with both Android and iOS devices, which can be downloaded safely from the official app stores. Both have great ratings of at least 4/5 stars based on thousands of user reviews, though the iOS version takes the crown. This could be due to the fact that the iOS version seems to get more regular updates.

On both versions, you can do everything here with the icons across the top of your device screen, giving you shortcuts to where you want to go. We found betting using the app a simple and easy process with just a few button presses to place a wager.

In addition, you can take live streaming on the go with a special sports video content feature called the Hub, whose main highlight is horse racing. And for those who love connecting to others on apps, the Ladbrokes app connects you to friends and other punters in the betting community for real conversation.

Fund Your Account Easily Using One Of The Many Options Available

4.4/5

As Ladbrokes have been around for a number of years, you would expect to see plenty of payment options, and that is exactly what we found. With online banking, card options, and various eWallets making up the bulk of the options, you can get started quickly and securely.

Online banking is also offered as a withdrawal method with a time of 2-4 days. As you would expect, credit cards are not supported because these are not allowed to be used for deposits in the UK.

Quick Answers To Your Questions At The Ladbrokes Help Centre

4.5/5

One of the reasons for the high Ladbrokes rating is the customer service process, which starts with a huge help centre that has not just FAQs but also some more in-depth articles. This should cover any gaps in your knowledge about how to withdraw, deposit, or place a wager, as well as clear up most of the basic queries that any new bettor at Ladbrokes might have.

You’ll also find that chat is available through the user dashboard; we tested the chat and found the responses to be quick and helpful. There is also an 0800 number if you wish to talk to somebody in person, but this number will vary depending on what region you are calling from. Email is an option too, via a form on their website.

In addition, you can contact them on X (Twitter; @Ladbrokescare), Facebook, or Instagram if you prefer to sort things out via social media, which are their preferred methods.

Safe And Trusted Betting At Ladbrokes

4.1/5

As you can imagine, a big name like Ladbrokes has a strong pedigree and is a safe and trusted place for you to go and place your sporting bets. It is licensed and regulated in the UK by the Gambling Commission and has a license number 054743-R-330863-010.

They have SSL encryption in place and support responsible gambling by being partners with several gambling support organisations such as Gamble Aware and Take Time To Think. They also keep underage players out using the registration process and also have KYC verification in place.

Additional Promotions to Keep Bettors Happy

4.0/5

There is no true loyalty scheme active at Ladbrokes, but there is something called the Fanzone, which comes as an alternative.

Fanzone

This is absolutely free to join and gives bettors access to a number of features linked to their EPL club. Once you opt-in, you’ll get access to fun rewards each time your team plays. This includes free-to-play games like Clash of the Day and Golden Goals, as well as odds boosts and fan prices. You could even qualify for bonus bets which could appear alongside team news.

Other Regular Offers

If EPL isn’t your cup of tea, there are other regular offers too, including:

  • Free-to-play Games: Half-time quizzes to win up to £1,000, predict three correct scores to win £100, and instant spins to win a bonus bet.
  • Odds Boosts: Up to seven daily odds boosts for you when you log in, three for horse racing, and four for the sport of your choice.
  • Enhanced Prices: Enhanced prices on selected markets each day.

There are also promotions that change regularly for events like American sports or seasonal offers related to holidays, so always stay tuned to the promotions page

Simple Navigation Makes Placing Bets At Ladbrokes A Breeze

4.3/5

While reputation, promotions, and bonuses count for a lot, it’s the usability of the site that defines whether or not you will stay at a sportsbook for the long term, which we account for in our Ladbrokes reviews. We were worried that as a more established name, the site might fall behind newer sportsbooks, but we found they keep their user interface fresh to ensure it does not look old-fashioned.

While there is a lot to fit in, it’s well set out and easy to navigate, with the menus at the top and left-hand side making it easy to see at a glance what you’re looking for. They leave the most popular tabs front and centre, like in-play, football and horse-racing, and keep the sidebar an A-Z menu. There’s even a basic article at the footer of the page giving a quick run-down on how the site works, if you get that far down.

Basic functions like seeing your balance and making a deposit all start off with a click in the top right-hand corner, and help is available from either your dashboard or a link in the footer. This is not going to win any awards for design, with regular black text on a white background or vice-versa for menus. However, it fulfils the purpose excellently and was one of the pleasant surprises of this Ladbrokes sports review.

So Much to Choose From – Major And Niche Sports

Lots of different sports
Exciting odds at Ladbrokes

The range of markets at Ladbrokes covers all of the bases, with soccer and the NFL sitting beside beach volleyball and rowing. There are a whopping total of 49 different sports covered, with 191 different markets available for just one EPL match alone illustrating how deep these markets go.

There are even markets for politics and events related to TV shows. This is on par with what you’re likely to find elsewhere, so there are no unique features, but the betting process here is so straightforward that it might well be one of the easiest places to find what you need. This includes not just going deep with single events but also with outright markets of the league and cup winners.

Competitive Odds and Boosts In Place Too

During this Ladbrokes review, we did some random odds comparisons and found that the odds were a match across most other major markets. As an example, in the EPL match mentioned above, Arsenal vs Crystal Palace, Ladbrokes have the draw at 4/1, and Unibet have it at 19/4. In the snooker, Ladbrokes have Selby at 5/4 to beat Trump and Bet 365 have him at 13/10,

That isn’t the big news, though, as there are odds boosts in place on specific markets each day, but you have no choice about those. You can, however, get odds boosts of your own each day. These will be for specific markets and are displayed on your account dashboard when you log in, and if you don’t use them you’ll lose them. You can see these odds in either decimal or fractional formats, which can be toggled between in your settings on your account dashboard.

Thousands Of Events Streamed Live Every Year

One of the other areas that was praised in other Ladbrokes reviews was the live betting experience, and we agree. There is no shortage of markets, with nearly a hundred listed under the Live Now or Upcoming tabs, and the simple betting process makes putting a wager easy, a crucial factor for in-play betting.

There are thousands of live events streamed each year across a number of sports, and these can be seen by clicking on the Watch Live icon under the in-play betting tab. While carrying out this Ladbrokes review, we saw streams available for Serie A and La Liga soccer, as well as horse racing, tennis, and snooker.

You’ll find the amount of live events available indicated by a small yellow numbered circle, which will of course change as sports seasons progress, meanwhile the live games that you can watch will have a yellow “Watch” box next to its live tag. Though, you will have to be logged in to access the videos

High Max Payouts Give Bettors Flexibility

To see the maximum bets at Ladbrokes, you need to work backward from the maximum payouts, which are some of the highest in the industry, as you can see in the table below.

SportMax payout
Soccer£1,000,000
Horse racing£1,000,000
Tennis£250,000
Golf£500,000
Cricket£250,000
Rugby£250,000
Virtual/eSports£100,000

However, the highest maximum payouts apply only towards select major sports, like soccer and horse-racing, as it does at many other operators. Still with other max payouts hitting £250,000-£500,00, there are pretty lenient limits in place to cater to most bettors.

High Ratings from our Ladbrokes Reviews

Overall, Ladbrokes has everything you need from a sportsbook especially when you look at the markets available across nearly 50 sports. There are the odds boosts to already competitive odds as well as other promotions, making pre match and in play betting simple. When the large number of streamed events and the overall betting experience on this well-designed site are taken into account as well, you’re left with a great place to do your sports betting that you should check out at your earliest convenience.

A Solid Performer and A Safe Home For New Bettors

When we started this Ladbrokes review, we were aware of the long pedigree of this sportsbook but were concerned that this would mean they might take bettors for granted. This wasn’t the case at all, and this is instead one of the best online bookmakers for bettors to start or move to, as it has a great welcome bonus and so much to offer on one site, including free-to-play promotions.

The lack of a dedicated loyalty club may be a problem for some users, but again, we found that there was enough on offer that it’s hardly noticeable as there are so many extras already built into the site without having to do anything to access them. All in all, we would recommend that you take a look at Ladbrokes the next time you’re thinking of joining a new sportsbook.
